Top quality suspension servicing and custom motocross suspension tuning for better performance and safety!

Whether you’ve a new bike or old bike at Chaseworks we believe the best performance modification you can have is suspension that’s set up for your weight, height and riding style.

Correct spring rates, air pressures, well serviced forks, shock and linkage will enable you to ride better and get that important power to the back wheel.  Our motocross and dirtbike suspension services are focused on delivering a better handling bike that makes your ride much more enjoyable and safer. Custom suspension tuning and suspension revalving for motocross and dirtbikes is our area of expertise.

SERVICE INTERVALS

FRONT FORK SERVICE

We recommend that you service your forks every 35 to 40 hours of riding time. At 30 hours of riding we see that the fork oil starts to deteriorate and the bushings start to wear which can lead to fork seal failure and ultimately wear on your inner fork tubes. You should check your springs yearly to make sure you are still within specified factory tolerances.

REAR SHOCK SERVICE

We recommend that your rear shock be serviced every 40 to 50 hours of riding time.  The rear shock oil starts to deteriorate at around 40 hours.  The the shaft bushing start to show wear around this time which can put extra stress on the seal causing leading to leaks. The rear shock spring should be checked yearly to make sure you are still within specified factory tolerances.

One of the most important and free things you can do to make sure your suspension is working well and to save you maintenance costs in the long run is to repack and grease the shock linkage and swingarm linkage every 10 hours riding time.  We do this with every suspension that we service.

“The service, advice and support from Steve and Wyatt is superb, they really know suspension, I highly recommend them” – Darren Ward

WORKING WITH US >

If you’re delivering your bike to us for suspension work there will be an additional labour surcharge to remove and refit the suspension into the bike.

Delivering your bike to us?  Please make sure it’s clean.

If you had a suspension revalve or full suspension service done then we will set your sag when you’re collecting the bike.

If you have couriered your suspension to us then when you get it back into your bike we will advise you on how to set the sag.

Delivering your suspension to us?  Please make sure it’s clean.

If we find that you need additional parts that are beyond the scope of a normal revalve or service then we will advise you on any additional time and costs.  We will only proceed with your permission.

We stand over our workmanship – if there’s something genuingly wrong on our part then we will make it right and we ask you for that opportunity.

If we have revalved your suspension and you’re not happy with the setup then we ask that you speak to us and let us advise you on what to to do:  your clickers might need adjustment, your sag could need rechecked, your front forks could be binding, your tyre pressure could be incorrect, if we’ve worked together to eliminate these things and you’re still unhappy then we will revalve it once more at our cost.  We ask you for that opportunity.
